The Summit Organisers and the Community Climate Network have attempted to make the Climate Summit as accessible as possible. We have worked to ensure the registration fee is kept low, the food provided is optional and affordable, and billeting will be provided during the conference for those who require it.
The Summit Team will also be providing limited travel grants to enthusiastic people who would like to attend the Climate Summit in Glebe on 21-23 June, 2013 but cannot afford to travel to Sydney. Preference will be given to those who are active in their local Climate Action group or Campaign group, who will need to travel a considerable distance, and who are most deserving in terms of financial need. If there are more applicants than places, the Committee will allocate grants according to these criteria.
If you would like to apply for a travel grant, please send your name and contact details, along with a brief statement outlining why you are applying, to the Summit Organisers along with a letter from a member of your group stating why you should be chosen. If you don’t belong to a group you may still apply but group members may be given a higher priority.
